What happens if we win by 40 tomorrow?

Will posters still be pushing the panic button?

Look, I'm concerned with what McD had to say about Colvin as well after the game on Wednesday, but I do have to wonder how much of the collective angst on here the last couple of days stems from the fact that we got our ***** kicked on national TV.

Winning = happy, losing = angry and frustrated.

IF we win and they play like they should at this level.....I will support them in all aspects...they play like they are just learning...well gloves are off

Even with a convincing win tomorrow the tone of the board will not change; however, if we win next Wednesday look out. Happy Days will be here again!!! Go Cyclones!

They should beat North Dakota State by at least 30 or 40. That should be expected. How they perform against Texas will mean much more as to where the program is right now. If they struggle at all against North Dakota State, it will prove the program is in serious trouble. Some people were concerned they did not get practices in. Frankly, they should hardly need practice to beat NDSU.

I'd be happy with 10 if the since they took oral roberts to the wire and ORU beat Mizzou.

first of all - they won't win by 40
second of all - beating a crappy quasi-DI team by 40 won't change the fact this team won't get enough wins in the Big 12 to make the NCAA tourney

If we win, even by 40, it wont prove anything. We still havent beaten anyone worth much, and a 5-9 NDSU team isnt going to change that. Unless this team gets a lot better in many areas (especially rebounding and FTs), its going to be a very rough conference season.

That "crappy quasi-DI team" made the NCAA tournament last season and gave Kansas all it wanted in the first round.

Granted, we should win. NDSU lost just about everybody from last season's team, I think.

How long has it been since we've beaten a ranked team? How long has it been since we've seen the postseason? Does this team, arguably with the best talent yet, look like it has a chance at the tourney? If not this year, given talent losses from this year to next, when?
