Why do people support Rhoads in making the players on his team well rounded young men, but then the same people make an exception for star athletes on the basketball team?
I think all of us would love to have all our teams full of guys like Tim Tebow...I know I would.
You do need to remember a couple of things...
Football is much different than basketball...one guy makes a huge difference in BB and really doesn't make that much of a difference in FB.
Players at this level are typically not all treated "equally". Heck, that is really the way it is in life...the top salesman in the company loses his company laptop and he gets a slap on the wrist while the poor performing salesman loses his company laptop and gets canned.
I cheer for two teams, Iowa State and whoever is playing the hawkeyes.
There are multiple rumors flying around but nothing that I am comfortable putting out here on the site. I will if I can get a few things confirmed but until then, it is all speculation. I'm sure that we will learn a lot after Mac's post game press conference here today.
Wow...this is disturbing.

I seriously doubt that any of Colvin's recent "antics" just exploded with no notice (just as I doubt that WJ leaving just exploded with no notice)...you have to deal with issues before they become huge problems.
Without knowing all the details, this is a bit nieve, don't you think? Fine. You've got a freshmen who thinks he should be starting (or at least getting more minutes) automatically. Has been complaining about not playing enough. How do you handle it?

Because neither Jay Bilas nor any of the recruiting services are EVER wrong...

Go down to Austin and tell them losing McCoy didn't make much of a difference in the title game this week. Have fun with that.

I was really impressed with Colvin during the game... When a lot of players are suspended they feel sorry for themselves but every basket that was made Colvin was standing up and cheering for his teammates.
