UNI and NW are far from being that great of teams.

We had a bunnnnncccchhhhh of players with no focus today. Warmups were awful to watch. The starters all coasted through warmups, didn't do anything full speed. The only player that looked like he gave a **** was Alex Dorr. I hope he continues to see minutes, because even if he isn't as talented as Dendy, he's at least got some heart and he tries. Dendy has taken over as my biggest disappointment this season. Brackins wasn't good today...or Wednesday...but Dendy has the tools to be an excellent player, he's just lazy and doesn't care, which is rather bothersome.

What we are doing currently is the definition of insanity.

We tried that today with a 1-2-2. It was awful.

Putting the coaching debate aside, that's a pretty bold and derogatory statement to make about an individual that you don't know personally. Essentially you're saying he was okay with closing the book on his coaching career, if it came to that, as long as he made enough money to retire comfortably. The man's livelihood, reputation, and legacy are on the line here.

It may not work out for McDermott and Iowa State (it's getting harder and harder to hold out hope), but I will never question the man's desire to succeed and do great things at Iowa State. I'm not sure how you could listen to 4 years of interviews and believe otherwise. He seems to be a good guy who does his best to mold his players into good men (see: Mike Taylor, Chris Colvin).

It's completely fair to hate the results. It's another thing to accuse a man with a sterling reputation of cashing a check. And if you tell me that you enjoyed several adult beverages while watching the game today, then headed to the boards in frustration, I'd understand.

You had a couple good runs with corrupt coaches several years back. Somehow, you think that should be status quo. You guys have a lot of therapy to go through. Reality can still be yours if you work at it.
