Ready to watch the rest of the season
After last nights game, all of the other games we have played have washed out of my mind. This is a whole new season and last night just got me pumped for the rest of the year. I am really exited to see how we progress or degress. Its hard to say, but i dont know when ISU is going to have a team this good again. I think we all should just sit back and enjoy this year, like reeeeeaally enjoy it. So just sit back grab some popcorn and hope we continue to play like we did against Texas. Games like last night make me have all the faith in the world.

Re: Ready to watch the rest of the season
Did we play well because of the opportunity to beat #1 or are we on the right track? I'm curious yet not convinced that we are a "team" yet. These next 2 games are huge and that's an understatement.

This is what im a bit afraid of. We need to play like this every single game, no excuses.

+1
My excitement level will increase once the team shows the ability to play with great effort and teamwork against an unranked team.
Re: Ready to watch the rest of the season
There are no "easy" games in the Big 12. Your going to have to play like this every game to pull a win out.
Re: Ready to watch the rest of the season
Injuries will be a factor. I hope we are fast healers.
Re: Ready to watch the rest of the season
Let's not get carried away just yet. There's still a lot that we have to find out about this team. Will last night's effort become the trend for the rest of the season, or will it end up as the exception if we revert back to uglier performances?

I would think we need to go 10-6 in conference to get in the NCAA's. That now means a minimum of three road wins. I'd say these next two are even more important than last nights because don't road wins help even more in your standing with the committee?

I ready for the rest of the Season.
That is, until we lose in Lincoln. Then we'll all be back on the BASH GMac Bandwagon.

It is just not a very nice schedule for us to finish out the year. I would love to get the next two games and I think that they are VERY crucial to this season. I just can not see winning both on the road, taking 1-1.

I will go with 8-8, but I could honestly see it shift 2 games in either direction. This team is capable of winning 10 games, and is capable of losing 10 games. One week from today I feel like I will have a much better grasp on how this season fares out.
