I wouldn't be at that point yet but a ****** end to the season after pulling Colvin's suspension would put me in the fire McDermott bandwagon.

Lift a redshirt.... that ones easy. If Coach Mac loses his job then Oliver and all the other players will probably leave anyways. Use the year or else the next school will use it. Easy decision.

Nice, either way GMAC gets hammered again. Really a no win situation here. Boozer injury is just a huge problem now. Maybe he lets Colvin suit up and uses him in an emergency if someone else goes down.

Agreed. Playing with what we got or pulling a redshirt is basically the same thing. They both lead to a disastrous ending.

Mass exodus after a coaching change is not the norm...

People like you amaze me. You act as though the current circumstances are not at all relevant. You demand that Mac not budge on the suspension, but you'll be the first to call for Mac's head when we loose the next three games. What about all of the players on the team who've worked their rears off for this team? Do they deserve to have their season go down the drain just because you want Mac to hold to his principles? Don't you think they deserve some consideration too?

    Stick with Colvin suspension
    Play JVB if he can/wants
Play Bubu or Oliver if needed, not like we need to save their elgibility for the futures here.
    I'll take a Jack & Hilton

Hate to say it, but play with what we have. You still need to stick to your punishment no matter who else comes along and kicks you in the nuts.

Do they deserve to have a team cancer be reinstated for no reason while they did everything right and he walked out on them? I'm sure that will be great for team moral... Sure, the kid puts on the Eddie Haskel act for a few days and if he gets away with it now, he will do it again.

    Re: Lift suspension or redshirt?

What about the alternative - pull the suspension and lose the next 3 games anyway, which had a decent chance of happening before any of the Lucca stuff happened? Then you have lost the respect of your players and the fans as well as the games. That would be something he would have absolutely no chance of recovering from.

Wrong. I won't be ****** at all. Honor before Victory. Colvin should be serving the suspension he agreed to for walking out on his teammates, coaches, and the AD in Chicago.

    Re: Lift suspension or redshirt?

Why not play with 7? That is all he really uses anyway. LE always had a short bench and it worked for him. Hell if need be Dorr can hit 3s and his D cannot be much worse that Lucca's.

    Re: Lift suspension or redshirt?

Don't lift Colvin's suspension, at least not yet. Lets play with 7 tomorrow. See what happens, give it a least a week or so to play out.

Also, I don't know how much lifting a redshirt off a player this late in the game is really going to help other than to have a player just in case.

I say the first five halfway athletic looking males to make it to Hilton get to be on the roster for the day. Make it the new 12th man, haha.
