McDermott and keeping players on the team

Why can't McDermott keep players on his team. He loses everyone his first season, pretty much the same thing the next season. Then he loses Wesley Johonson and now Lucca. Maybe it is not his fault but will he ever be able to recruit talent that wants to stay?

I think he wanted to get the program going as fast as he could and maybe took a chance on some guys that in retrospect he probably should not have. Easy to say now, hard to know a kids character all the time or how things will play out.

i agree that CB stayed but it really makes you wonder who he will lose next. Do you think Colvin will stay?

A. Pomlee didn't quit.
B. Wesley Johnson and Lucca probably had as many minutes played at ISU individually as all others combined.
