What does a win tonight mean?

I was thinking about what a win tonight would mean to this team and program. Frankly, I think a win tonight might be the biggest win in gmac's tenure here at ISU. If we win tonight I'm not sure a brick wall could keep us from making a nice little run in this conference. A win tonight and I would seriously not want to be Kansas this weekend. Can you imagine the crowd at Hilton on Saturday?!

Maybe I'm too geeked up sitting and thinking about this but I'm not sure I've ever wanted a win for any ISU team in my life more than I want one tonight.

A lot. It means a lot. Going into the Kansas game a win tonight may be the difference.

I agree on every point. Funny thing, imagine ISU starting out the Big 12 at 2-2 with 2 road wins and 2 home loses.

I'm with you. I have hope too.

Remember when Gilstrap got ticked at the end of the Houston game and went off? I'm expecting the same tonight.

Lucca's gone and Colvin by all accounts has been straightened out. We've cleared out the primadonnas and now is the time for Craig to finally make this his team.

Maybe some posters on here will apologize for jumping off the cliff so soon in the season vs rallying behind the team when they need it the most?

we need this because...
1. Prove we can play without Lucca
2. Get a second Big 12 win (a road one on top of that)
3. Rally the team and gain confidence going into the Kansas game (very winnable if we win tonight)
4. One win closer to Tourney (or at least NIT)

Gosh it would be nice because it would get people (including myself) talking about something other than our former player, things would get positive, and we'd have a nice happy run up to this weekend.
