Buckley
I think he earned more playing time tonight. I liked his ability to shoot and he did some nice things off the dribble. His defense was servicable.
Should he be taking minutes from DG? Thoughts?

Re: Buckley
If he is taking minutes from a guy who has more trouble finishing and dribbling off his own foot then I am happy.
NHL teams need to be added to the favorite teams section. -
Re: Buckley
Buck did a nice job...Always been a fan.

Re: Buckley
Buckley certainly makes things happen out there. Not always good things, but he's certainly not afraid to try. One of the best things to come out of the Staiger defection could be increased PT for him. -
Re: Buckley
Buckley looked pretty good tonight and should get more minutes. I would also like him to get some minutes at the 2, because his shot looked good. But, People saying he should take DG mitutes are crazy.
DG will make his mistakes but usually its because he is the only one out there that can dribble and he has to beat pressure by himself. Buckley has to prove to be consistent and obviously he hasn't else he would be playing more. You go in to a game against a good team that will play pressure D without DG being on the court a lot it would be a joke.
I am always stunned by the bashing of DG when he occasionally doesn't play as well as he can and people fail to see the huge value he has to this this team. He isn't our best player, but i could probaby make an argument for most valuable.

Re: Buckley
I'd love to see Buckley play more. With the depleted guard court, we really need this guy.

Re: Buckley
I thought Buckley played very well for not having a lot of experience. And yet Colvin got his minutes late in the game. Makes no sense.

Re: Buckley
I thought Buck played great last night. He's definitely earned some of the Staiger minutes as it looks like playing Buck and DG together worked pretty well.

Re: Buckley
I've always liked Buckley and wanted him to play more always. GMac has done a certain great job of not giving people chances during the game. I don't know about practice, but just speaking from experience...once it's gametime, some people perform way better than in practices. It might make sense, but at the same time you never know..

Re: Buckley
Give Buckley more minutes better ball handler and shooter by far. Keep changing your line up to see who works together and who does not. I liked what I saw last night good job Buckley!!

Re: Buckley
My prediction was correct, Buckley would play the 2 last night when SC was on the bench. I thought he did a great job offensively with his shot.

I would start Buckley at the 2, I think he just brings more to the table than Scott does at this point, mainly being able to break defenders down off the dribble.... a little off topic, but I don't know why we didn't post up Dendy and Brackins more last night. It seems that everyone on this team wants to make the shot to get us back in the game, which is nice, but we miss way too many shots early in our possession. And our D is consistently not good enough on the other end to make up for quick possesions without points.

Should he be taking minutes from DG? Thoughts? I can tell you what should not have happened. Buckley should not have minutes taken from him by a suspended player...

We would either score every time or get fouled (which I guess meant no points). We should have done more of that.

Re: Buckley
I want to play the person that can set up CB with better, more timely passing.
Looking forward to CFH magic for the next bball season, Georges style.
