I listened this morning...Jon and Deace blew this up into something bigger than it was. Plus they didn't have all the facts, but I found it entertaining.

That's on you, not me For one, they can't because most the time they don't really know all the facts. They see the main point and go from there. I suppose this is true for most teams but it really seems to be exaggerated by Iowa fans talking about the Clones. I, for one, don't really care about the Hawks unless we play them. I agree, a lot of Clone fans will bang on the Hawks any chance they get. Hawk fans do the same thing very often but since all we ever get in the news is a little blip, sometimes Hawks make up the rest of the story. Usually, when something happens with the Hawks the whole story is out there. Iowa fans or ISU fans cannot comment on the other one objectively. There is always going to be bias.

Dear Lord...
He played a kid for about 7 minutes who was suspended by Mac's own hand, and he chose to reinstate him to help a team dessimated by injury and defection.
There are bigger tragedies in life.

What's the point of having a coach? May as well just have a ballot box in the locker room and one on the bench.
Should we press? Yes or No?
Who should start?
If we might need a timeout, the players on the bench could huddle like they did on Family Feud.
Survey says, "Coward".

There are bigger tragedies in life. One would argue that we did not need his 7 minutes of contribution which lead to zero points, 2 fouls, and many poor shots.

There are bigger tragedies in life. And This.
But Steve Deace would have you believe that Mac is now up there with the worst of the worst cheaters and violators in college athletics.
Somehow, an internal team suspension is related to breaking the rules of a sport.

I do take some relief in knowing that Mac was not rewarded from compromising his integrity.

By him being on the court one could argue that it gave Mac the opportunity to coach the other guards. Can't do much in game coaching if they never can sit down.

He certainly did that. It looked like he spent a good minute talking over things with Buckley at one point. Those kinds of immediate explanations can help a player learn faster.

It's not like the guy has no history with ISU fans...he has been the HC for four years now.

I cheer for two teams, Iowa State and whoever is playing the hawkeyes. -

It's not their choice and sometimes the team pays for the actions of one.
Have any of you ever been on a team before?
Did you ever have to run because someone other than you was late or dogging it?
Did you get to vote to not do so?

I'm just curious as to what this has to do with anything.
