Lowering the shoulder is still legal if the guy isn't set.
That's absolutely untrue. If you displace defensive player in a legal guarding position then it's a player control foul. There is a myth that you must be "set" in order to take a charge when in fact you just need to be in a legal guarding position.
Refs are bad but we're simply playing sloppy as hell and are getting out played at every position and aspect of the game. If we can't control the ball any better or stop them from scoring, we're going to get blown out by 40.
A program isn't built on one player and it doesn't succeed because of one player, thus a program won't fail if it doesn't get that one player.
