To the Players
The fans love you guys. We appreciate how yard you work and the commitment you give 24/7 365. College athletics is unique and no fan can understand how hard it is.
I personally really respect the guys that come a great distance from home to be Cyclones and it means a lot to us and 99.9% of the fans. If you conduct yourself with class and respect the uniform you will have the thanks of the fans for the rest of your life. Once a Cyclone always a Cyclone. I could keep writing stuff like this all day but shrug this one off and get back to work and good things can happen.
P.S. Nice suit Boozer.

Re: To the Players
The idiots who come on here and say "they don't hustle or have any heart" never played college ball. They do not have a clue. The effort it takes, year around, to compete at this level seperates the athlete with talent from the athlete with talent that will also put in the work. Things look pretty bleak right now, but I can honestly say all the players are working on the court and have not embarassed themselves, the university or the fans. All you can do is give 100% and hold your head up with no regrets. You just lost to possibly #1 ranked teams, forget it and get with it. Good luck!

The guidance is fine.
Walking on water is easy. Just do it in December when it's frozen. -
Re: To the Players
I root for every single one of them as well...I just don't think it's too much to ask to give constant effort, and play smarter.
These guys have enough perks around campus that a little venting about them on a web-site shouldn't rattle them...if it does, I think there are thousands of 18-22 year old's around that would LOVE to change places with them.

Re: To the Players
Yet they make the arrant passes, misses the free throws, shoot the terrible shot, and turn the ball over, miss the rebounds, don't defend....Don't get me wrong I'll always back the team but at the end of the day theres only so much a coach can do. Am I the biggest supporter of Gmac? No, but some of the ripping on him is rather foolish. Yes he probably isnt the guy to succeed here, but he doesn't play the game... I hope all the players stick together even though its a tough and frustrating situation.

Re: To the Players
Agree. I have been very critical of GMac, since he is the one paid millions. I try to draw the line at criticizing players on a message board, in any sport.
Appreciate your efforts and the fact you are Cyclones!!
