Re: Tourney hopes
Yes I think we need to win the next two games. OU is on the road but it is team that we can beat if we get back to playing a solid game. And we need to take care of our home court against CU. But most importantly I agree with what was said earlier, we need to be more fundamentally sound no matter who we play. The last 3 games (including the win over Nebraska) have rough but at least the problems are correctable.

Re: Tourney hopes
I think our tournament hopes were pretty much done for after we lost to KU saturday. We're not going to win at the phog....which is our last opportunity at a really good win. Given the fact that we have zero good wins so far, I think we need to get to 11 wins in conference to give ourselves a good chance to get in. Looks like that ship has sailed.

I think a KState win gives us that signature win. I think it's a long shot we make the NCAA but I do have to agree with the sentiments of the OP. It's still doable and a win against KState would be huge. And some road wins as well.

Re: Tourney hopes
The chance is about as likely as the Vikings going to the super bowl (hahahahaha)...I would love to eat crow but I want a complete turnover of this program....We need change the fans/state can believe in.....

You might be right, I have a hard time seeing them as that impressive...although they're ranking has been moving higher by the week.

You don't understand though....history has dictated that you can not be an average team in conference to get in the tourney (need to be way above 8 wins), given the fact that we have zero good wins outside of the conference schedule. Come back with some meaningful information, or I'm just going to assume you are just flying from the hip with no good information.

Re: Tourney hopes
If we get KSU once or twice with some road wins, and finish 10-6 in the conference, we are in I think. 9-7 still have a shot depending on who we beat and how strong the conference is. We still don't have a horrible loss on our record.

That puts us at 3-6 then @KU 3-7
Then we go to CU and KSt and host 4 games.
Win 5 of those 6 gets us to 8-8 then 2 in the B-12 Tourney
most likely a 7 seed because of the conference being top heavy.
2 wins in the tourney gives us 21 wins, 7 of our last 10
and a late season win over a possible top 10 (UT or KSt)
I know we aren't playing well enough to pull this off currently
but I think that ressume gets us in.
I know a large portion of ypu don't think that's possible but if we did
I think we'd get in. You've got some real good drugs. I want us to do good so bad it hurts, but I think we all know where this season is going.
