Perspective: OU is not that good of a team this year and they were playing without their top two players tonight. However, they did have other players that steped up their game to compensate.
Bottom Line: It is still a road loss that you'd have to say was win-able. We really couldn't have played much worse in the first half. OU was hitting 3 pointers in the first half and when they weren't falling in the second half, it made it easier for us to come back from 21 down. A great effort by our team in the second half and I hope they can match the effort going forward.
The story of two halves.... but the early game trend continues of the opposing team hits three pointers to get off to a big early lead. Why did it take till the 2nd half for us to decide to play defense? On 4 of their first half 3 pointers, Coach Mac was closer to guarding their shooters than any of our players on the floor. Did we call a time-out during their 17-2 run in the 1st half? I'll always support our teams, but preparation seems to be lacking right now. Every opponent knows to shoot fast and furious at the start of games, as we just seem to tip toe around feeling things out till we're 10-15 points behind. I pray for a better initial effort on Sat.
If all y'all want to ***** and moan the rest of the season, let me know so I change my homepage away from CF.
This team still has a lot of home games and a few we can win on the road. If you dont like "Cyclone Nation", you can leave. Thanks!
we want to change cyclone nation for the better....we are ******* and moaning because this team is not performing at home or on the road....take off your cardinal and gold glasses and wake up and see what is really happening....
