i hope craig and gilstrap go pro
probably not a popular thought, but i am totally serious. i feel bad for both of them. they are both too talented to have to suffer through another season like this one. sure-they could get drafted by a horrible team, but at least they will be getting paid.
i am starting to wonder though if craig will-his stock is falling by the day.
gilstrap i think for sure goes-his stock seems to be rising by the game.
last year i was selfish and wanted him to come back. while that would be nice to happen again, i don't think it makes a real big difference to the outcome of next season. he might as well bail.

AT THIS POINT, I'd like to see CB go pro and Strap stay.

Re: i hope craig and gilstrap go pro
Gilstrap I feel for. Craig has not brought the same effort as he did last season and I'm struggling to feel sorry for him.
He excelled on about the same team last year and is struggling this season, with better people around him.

Re: i hope craig and gilstrap go pro
At this pace Craig won't be inside the mid 2nd round if drafted at all. He has no position. If I am a GM, I honestly would not draft him. He is the type of guy who is drafted and never produces ala Adam Morrison, Darko Millicic, Andris Biedrins, and that sort. Not big enough inside, not good enough outside. Unless something happens I think he will come back. Gilstrap, on the other hand is working himself up farther with every game and I think he has to go. He has family to worry about and he is already to an age where it starts counting against you in the draft. My prediciton-Craig is back, Gilstrap is gone.

They both come back I believe.

If they both come back, next year could be a good year. It would just about make us a lock for the NIT.

Re: i hope craig and gilstrap go pro
I think Brackins is mentally gone...He is having a rough season compared to last year at this point. His defense and rebound are really weak, and often hurt this team...

I don't know man, returning our current starting 5 could really give us what it takes to get to the NIT next year. I think it would be a lock, might need to win one game in the Big 12 tourney tho..

I can certainly understand him wanting to jump at this point, but if he isn't projected to be drafted at the end of this season what choice does he have? With his size/skill tweener issue combined with a less than impressive conference season so far, he could very well end up leaving for nothing.
