Colvin + 2 years = Tinsley?
When Tinsley came to Iowa State he was a Junior. So, Could Colvin be as good as Tinsley in 2 years (a year and a half now i guess)? I think the sky is the limit for Colvin.

Pretty bold statement. Seems about the time these guys get good, they bolt for some other school.

No. JT learned his game at Rucker Park. He is not going to be another JT.

This kids potential is not elite, but very high. Think, Tyrese Rice of Boston College, But instead of dropping 46 on NC, he'll drop it on the KU turd-birds from the south..

Give the kid some space and credit. He may not end up as good as J.T.
How many do?
If he ends up as good as CC can be...thats great!
Just enjoy the ride.
At least try.

Excessive intake of alcohol, we all know, kills brain cells, but naturally it attacks the slowest and weakest brain cells first. In this way regular consumption of beer eliminates the weaker brain cells, making the brain a faster and more efficient machine. That's why you always feel smarter after a few beers. -
Re: Colvin + 2 years = Tinsley?
Perhaps on the offensive end, but I doubt he'll ever have the scrappy intangibles that Tinsley had on defense. Tinsley had a lot of steals, but he also had a bunch of blocks, especially in his first season. The one thing I used to love that Tinsley did was this weird cackling thing. It would mess with and get into the offensive player's head. He did it less as his career with us progressed but at first it was hilarious.

In 2 years we will know. If he is still here

Re: Colvin + 2 years = Tinsley?
i would say no. Tinsley was sick on a whole different level not only on offense but defense as well. Anytime tinsley wanted to be at the rack.....he was. If he didnt score he made the great dish. Colvin i think will be a great gaurd but its hard to compare him to Tinsley. Tinsley was also much bigger, colvin has time to get bigger and stronger hence the 2 years but i dont see him being as dominant

There are a lot of reasons why Colvin won't be as good as Tinsley but that is probably the dumbest reason I have ever heard.
