Does Colvin get the start tonight?
With Scott having mono. Should Mcdermott mix up the lineup a little?

Re: Does Colvin get the start tonight?
I really don't see Colvin starting unless DG is moved to the 2...Which I also don't see happening because we already moved Buckley to the 2.

Re: Does Colvin get the start tonight?
But DG and Colvin have been on the floor together a fair amount recently. So....?

Re: Does Colvin get the start tonight?
I wouldn't see a problem with it. As stated, they've already played together interchangably, and it probably helps Scott's health to reduce his minutes.
Why not do it?

Re: Does Colvin get the start tonight?
It could happen. Colvin has been playing well, and SC could use the rest.

Re: Does Colvin get the start tonight?
I like him off the bench. Change of pace. New energy on the floor. Same with Dendy.
Regardless, formula to beat us: pack in a zone.

Also, not sure DG is a good idea at the 2 going up against a 2/3 zone...We'll see.

Regardless, formula to beat us: pack in a zone. I don't usually hope for Craig to be relying on the outside shot, but if he wants to go ahead and hit 8 3-pointers like his last trip to Waco, I'll be OK with it.

I wouldn't have a huge problem with it, but I do think that would cause defenses to collapse on Craig from the start.
If Scott isn't feeling better, I'm guessing that Colvin will see even more minutes tonight.
Man, we really miss having the option of Lucca.

Regardless, formula to beat us: pack in a zone. Completely agree. Let the game settle in before bringing spark guys like Dendy & Colvin off the bench.

Re: Does Colvin get the start tonight?
Might as well try it if Scotty is not 100%. It's a different dynamic, and it would be interesting to see how Colvin responds.

Re: Does Colvin get the start tonight?
No. Scotty has had mono for the last 3 or 4 games and he's started. No different tonight.
-
Re: Does Colvin get the start tonight?
He won't start but I bet if we get off to another notorious slow start Mac gets him in the game much sooner than usual.

Re: Does Colvin get the start tonight?
My money is on CC starting. Mac sounded like he wants to mix it up and I don't know where else you would mix it up.

Re: Does Colvin get the start tonight?
I wouldn't have any problem with it, i would love to see scotty come off the bench and hit a couple three's, then head back off get some rest, colvin needs to get in the game early and get in the pace of the game so he see the floor as well as he has been. Scotty does just as well when coming off of the bench... but i dont see this happening.
