I don't miss him at all. No defense, no ability to drive or pass. I don't miss him at all, we would have lost by more points today with him, no doubt in my mind.
Me neither. You won't convince me that it didn't wear on Lucca's teammates his lack of commitment, leaving for the summer and part of fall, and not really working on any weaknesses.
Betcha it's a tighter team.
I definitely agree that Scottie will be better in the long run than Lucca. He actually plays defense
I think I'm with you on that.
Christopherson looked worse on his shot in this one than I've seen all season. Of course, a couple of those at key times might've swung the game.
His defensive play is an interesting thing — he looks like he should be a step too slow, but he actually holds his own.
I've seen players like that who work hard at it, and you can admire for doing it, but you can tell he sticks to his fundamentals and abilities — he knows he isn't a "steal guy" — at the very least, his defense is solid enough that he certainly isn't a liability.
I do wish he could've knocked down a couple of shots this time, though.
I don't miss him but I do miss a healthy SC. I think Scott's inability (because of mono) to work out and shoot as much as he normally does has really hurt his confidence the past few weeks. Guys that are gym rats need to get their shoots up during off days so they can carry it into a game situation. This team's depth is really thin...having to play a guy with mono for so many minutes is really wearing on us. He had three or four good looks to start the second half and he missed all of them. That let KSU go on that run...I gotta believe he hits a few of those shoots if he is healthy. JMO
The season is two thirds over. He better improve soon.
CFH HMagic bball season.
Let my fred's Four Horsemen ride.
The original poster called Lucca a consistent 3-point shooter. That's funny.
Lucca would've been a huge liability in this game because we weren't playing a crappy team. He would've taken about 3 shots and 1 of them would've been blocked. He would've been eaten alive on defense. He would've had 1 rebound. 4 fouls.
