I miss Lucca...

We need Lucca in spots. Scotty was supposed to take his place shooting and so far he hasn't shown he can consistently do it. I will give him a break though, he had Mono which probably didn't help.

I still think Scotty brings more to the table than Lucca but we surely could have used him today.

Scotty had a tough shooting game as all good shooters do but he can get out of his slump. You just got to make one.

I don't miss him but I do miss a healthy SC. I think Scott's inability (because of mono) to work out and shoot as much as he normally does has really hurt his confidence the past few weeks. Guys that are gym rats need to get their shoots up during off days so they can carry it into a game situation. This team's depth is really thin...having to play a guy with mono for so many minutes is really wearing on us. He had three or four good looks to start the second half and he missed all of them. That let KSU go on that run...I gotta believe he hits a few of those shoots if he is healthy. JMO

We need Lucca a lot more than spots. Gilstrap and Brackins had much cleaner looks with him. Teams want Gilstrap shooting that deep jumper over going to the rack, and teams can now sink into the lane because we don't have a threat from outside.

I definitely agree that Scottie will be better in the long run than Lucca. He actually plays defense. As soon as he gets his confidence back he'll start hitting. But we definitely need a quick fix to win a few a games right now and get headed in the right direction.

There is nothing that does more for momentum swings and creating a raucus home atmosphere than hitting threes. It was hard to get over the hump today without having those three pointers.

I think Scott will be fine when he can breathe again. I really believe that breathing is a crucial part of playing basketball.

I don't miss him at all. No defense, no ability to drive or pass. I don't miss him at all, we would have lost by more points today with him, no doubt in my mind.
