I think what I was getting at was, a win over the Hawks at the beginning of the year is pretty worthless when they are getting more out of scraps right now than ISU is getting out of what could have been one of the better Cyclone teams. In any case, I dont think any Cyclone fan is in a position to poke fun at the Hawks season simply because ISU won the head to head matchup.
I realize we have little room to talk, but 40 points? Iowa has played 13 Big Ten games and only cracked 70 points on 2 occasions. They have a ton of losses that they couldn't even score 60 points. Wicked bad basketball.
Lets make fun of a 20 year old walk on player who is only playing because a scholarship player was suspended and subsequently was released from his scholarship. I'm by no means a Hawk fan but there are a lot better ways to rip on Iowa than calling out a particular athlete, especially a walk on who is only getting time because of a situation that is out of his control.
We are dragging a** in conference and thanking everything that is good and wonderful for the excistence of the Nebraska Cornhuskers. I don't think making light of someone else'e problems erases that fact. And before we start making a mockery of such pictures....maybe someone should find a still photo of DG clanking the layup at Mizzou off the bottom FRONT of the rim. I haven't seen that done since 6 on 6 girls basketball with the 2 dribble limit.
