Outside of the allegations on which Quin Snyder was fired, has since become one of the top coaches in developing nba-ready talent in the NBDL......He has had proven success in Big 12 play...He led the Missouri Tigers to rankings as high as #3 and an elite eight during his tenure in Columbia...If the current regime is let go...could this be a viable option ?

I think he's a solid coach. He's probably learned a lot since his time at Mizzou. He was a young pup back then. Maybe if some guys turned us down we could look at him but he wouldn't be on my short list.

what's the record against the former team have to do with anything? Did coach mac have a 1-5 record against us?

There's no way LE or Floyd coming back. Of course you never say never, but it's very unlikely.

LE: why he would want to come back for someone who fired him before ? President Geoffroy is still here and the decision to let him go wouldn't have been made without his approval then.

TF: would Iowa State want to be under the microscope from NCAA for the wrong reason ? TF's name might have been tarnished after the USC scandal, regardless whether he's guilty or not. Also, it'll be a huge question mark for the recruits ? "will the program be clean enough, will it suddenly be hit by scandal and eventually NCAA sanction" ?

Not the worst of ideas, he'd be semi-proven. However, I would rather take a chance on an unknown candidate, we kinda already know what Quinn, TF, and LE can do.
