Where does the fan base stand?

dont want us to lose....if we do ill be ready to jump off a cliff especially with a home game against nebraska left on the schedule

I'm for Iowa State whoever the coach is... this season has been frustrating to say the least... my wife is tried of listening to my rants during games... I think that people around me at games are tired of me too...

Wow those records hurt to look at. Add in that I think we will probably be 14-18 this year at best, and it just gets flat out ugly.

I just feel like maybe it is time for a mutual breakup. GMac has done some great things other places, and he seems like a really nice guy who is trying to do things right, but it just isn't happening here. And ISU is a program that isn't elite, but it is capable of far more than what we are doing now.

GMac is good, ISU is good, but together as a couple they just don't work. It is time for both parties to move on and try to find a new match that offers some better chemistry.

Don't know if I agree with that. They're not bad fans for wanting ISU to improve in the best way they see possible. Not to mention that they'll likely lose those games anyway. For me, I can't root against ISU, but when they lose I don't feel terrible about it. More laughable than anything.

This. If they both sign up for E-Harmony maybe they can get matched up based on the 28(?) dimensions of compatiblity and find something that does work. :jimlad:

Sorry but this whole thing is just funny to me now. I can't even be serious when talking ISU basketball. It has turned into WAY too big of a joke now.

Big difference between "willing to risk" and "desiring". When you can seperate the two then you realize the concept isn't a "bunch of crap". Because in 06' obviously many, most importantly our AD were "willing to risk" the future of ISU basketball while at the same time I am sure not "desiring" for the team to lose.

You know what I really want...I just want us to win one game this year that really gives me that same old feeling I used to get when we won big games. That feeling of pride, excitement, like you're walking on clouds the whole rest of the night...damn, I miss that feeling.
