I never want us to lose, never.
I could never wish my Cyclones to lose regardless.
Even if ISU does not lose out he should be gone. Unless we win out. Only way.
How is losing out our choice?
I never want us to lose. But I do think it's time for a change. Does anyone REALLY think it's going to get better even if we gave him, say, one or two more seasons?
I don't want us to lose, but the program needs a change.
I never, ever want ISU to lose.
I will have to be honest and am going to get drilled for this, but i was so pulling for OSU tonight. Anyone on here who actually knows who I am knows I bleed Cardinal & Gold, and have for 25 years. This is almost funny anymore. Honestly it is not even worth getting upset over in the least bit.
Not a chance. I will be cheering for them to win. No matter what happens Mac is more than likly the coach next year.
The one and only time I wanted ISU to lose out so we could have a change was in 2004 Football. I remember us playing a poor first half against Baylor and just ready to throw in the towel on Coach Mac. Then we pulled out the game, and ended up winning a bowl that year. After that I learned my lesson, and will never wish that upon any of my teams.
I am resigned to the fact that no matter how bad this season ends, McDermott will most likely be here. With that in mind, i have to at least hope he can fix the problems somehow.
Yes........I have no problems canning him now at risk of losing the remainder of our games. The odds are we are going to anyway. So what's the difference? Make the new hire this spring and bring a little anticipation back to ISU. That will sell more tickets than "have faith, give him time".
