At last night's game it seemed like every time they showed kids in the student section on the jumbotron, most or all of them were standing there stone-faced and not cheering (with the exception of when we had our little glimmers of hope in the 2nd half). One time they showed a group of girls and one of them actually shook her head in disapproval at the camera. Also, that was quietest I've ever heard Hilton for team entrances and player introductions. Obviously the attitude of the crowd impacts the atmosphere for the game, and a negative one isn't going to help the team any. However, should we all put on false acts of excitement when we're really disappointed and bored? What do you think?

Unless it's a big game on national TV, what's the point? It's hard to even act excited for your team when they've been playing like ****.
No, you should not have to act like you care if you don't. Just being there, and giving a golf clap after a basket is enough to show your a serious fan. Its boring basketball...which leads to boring fans.
Those idiots missed a heck of a comeback too. The players didn't pack it in after they got down by 20...
If you're getting your *** kicked by 20 in a boring game that early, it's hard to justify being there when you probably have homework or something better to do...like getting drunk.

Nice excuse. Hate it when fans give up and leave early. Had ISU been able to hold onto the lead you would have missed out on one heck of a comeback. Again, fair weather fans some people here have become...
I was frustrated early on but when we made our run it was pretty fun to watch our guys getting pumped up and could tell they believed they could do it and the crowd was getting behind them too. I love how these guys never quit regardless of the score. We have our lapses at times which usually does us in but you never know just what is going to happen until you watch the entire game play out.
