It's be a rough year (or past 4 years) but I'm stickin with my upset pick! We have been close to beating Texas and Kansas St at home. I think we find a way to win a close one tomorrow

That's about the saddest statement about the state of our basketball program I can think of... we have yet to beat a ranked opponent in 4 years of Gmac! And we have had plenty of opportunities. Good coaches upset better teams at least on occasion.

For reference, Wayne Morgan beat Top 25 teams in each of his 3 seasons as ISU head coach.

Maybe Cyclone fans should stage a protest like the Cleveland Browns fans did...

I think it should be an organized effort to show the fans displeasure to JP if it hasn't been made loud and clear and boycott the Nebraska basketball game. It would be pretty impressive if Hilton was virtually empty at tip off. Either that or it should be a bring a bag to wear on your head night. LOL. There needs to be a bold statement made that we don't want GMAC back next year no matter what it takes.

I don't see it happening either. However, in my opinion, McDermott needs to beat a Top 25 team to prove something. How many quality wins does he have since he's been here? His overall record isn't great, and he lacks quality wins.
