Look at it this way. If and when we start beating the other schools in the conference again, we will really really appreciate it (especially if Greg is still the coach then).

I just don't think that this team is that good, we lack playmaking back court and that is what it takes to win in college basketball. However, scotty is doing a much better job lately (getting healthier) and i really like what colvin will bring to the program next year, he will ball.

I agree. Think everyone, myself included, didn't realize how bad those teams were. But it was fun while it lasted.

Nonsense!! This team is easily a top 5 team with 3 or4 lottery picks, but McD is just so awful he brings them down!!
I predict next year the expectations will be just as high, people will be talking about how great Colvin is going be, and DG with another year.....Scotty will be the 2nd coming of Hoiberg, trust me the kool aid will be flowing again next fall.

Wow this is exactly what I warned against in the Clyburn thread.
People will want to forget how bad this season really was (actually how bad it has been since Greg has been the coach). The people with agendas will tell everyone how much better player x is than who we have now.
The best one, and I have already seen it, is that we will lose Craig, and Marquis, but we will be better because we will play like a team more. That was right up there with we will be better without Mike Taylor, and Wes Johnson was a team cancer.

So Greg saying that this team should compete for an NCAA bid shows his lack of ability to judge talent as well???
