Brackins and Gilstrap: NBA
Anyone see this article that more underclassmen may consider the NBA draft this year rather than risk the possibility of a lockout in 2011?

Re: Brackins and Gilstrap: NBA
In the Bill Simmons podcast (last week, maybe?) with the Houston Rockets GM, they talked about this a little bit. The Houston GM mentioned the other end of this and how strong the 2012 draft could be, as all of the "one-and-done" guys who will be freshman next year may stay for a second year.
Could have a positive impact on the quality of college basketball in the 2011-2012 season. Or, maybe more kids will jump to Europe. Really hoping for the former.
I know it wouldn't be as much money for them, but if Brackins goes late in the first, that could be a good thing for him. Come in as a backup PF who can bring scoring off the bench for a playoff quality team? Not a bad gig. Of course, that could backfire this year, as the projected last eight picks of the first round are full of crappy/questionable teams that recently picked up draft picks in trades (Minnesota, Washington, New Jersey, Memphis x2).
