I believe he's walking on to the football team at Iowa State actually.

You'd better check the link below, in sports, "Haluska will join Hawkeyes as walk-on"

Sorry Calm down. It was a mistake on my part.

I had heard a couple weeks ago that he was looking at ISU, must have either been wrong intel or he decided to go elsewhere after visiting.

Too bad Norwalk couldn't pull that game out. They did a great job this year considering they lost Dorr and 3 other starters. Feel bad for my cousin in law who played his final game for Norwalk. If only a couple shots fell.

ISU should be watching this Haluska, but not for BB. From what I heard this Haluska is known more for FB than BB.

Kasperbauer---- He is a VERY talented basketball player. He would make any high school team in this state. I don't believe he will have to pay for his college education.

I have not seen the young man play. I will take your word that he is very talented.

My question is, when you watch him play, do you think that he belongs on the same court as the players from Oklahoma State?

The reason I ask that is because the standard is the Big 12. Oklahoma State is one of those 5-8 place teams that we have to beat to grow the program.

I am not even talking about the elite in the conference, I am talking about a second year coach that is a recruiting demon.

If we are behind them now, and they continue to improve the caliber of player that they bring in, then we have to at the very least match their talent, and hope that it can be coached up.

A big reason for the problems this program is having is recruiting too many players that don't belong on the same court as Oklahoma State.

Is this Wes Eikmeier type talented or Craig Brackins type talented?

I cheer for two teams, Iowa State and whoever is playing the hawkeyes.

Ford hired Butch Pierre to be his lead recruiter. Butch Pierre is a GREAT recruiter. He is the man that was responsible for LSU having so much talent the last 5 or 6 years. Be on the lookout for a kid named Brian Williams that signed with Okie St.

I cheer for two teams, Iowa State and whoever is playing the hawkeyes.

Re: Rutter at the Norwalk vs. Pella game

It is the night before a game. A division one prospect (Kasperbauer) is in Ames playing and the coaches went to scout him. What is the big deal? Same with the Norwalk kid. The coaches would be stupid to not be putting in a little time with some of the states best young talent when they are right in their back yard on the night before a home game. Just because they went to a game doesn't mean that they are offering up the world to these kids.

Maybe he just wanted to watch the game. Some of us have been known to do that from time to time.
