Re: Video: Pollard speaks on MBB situation
The volume (at least mine) seems to be very low. Was it really quiet in the room, too?

Re: Video: Pollard speaks on MBB situation
One thing is sure from looking at this is that Greg does not want to be there. While Jamie is speaking Greg is looking through papers, shuffling papers and looking down. He then looks up at the ceiling several times. This does nothing for me to increase my hopes that anything will change in the future with ISU basketball. Sorry but if the head coach exhibits these traits what does it really say to others.

He has a game coming up very soon against Texas. I hope that he is focused on that. I don't care what he looks like during the weekly media monkey show.

I understand the fact that he may not want to fire greg, but don't use athletic department stats to back up the basketball program.

I have noticed this same thing. Having interacted with him a few times at Cyclone events, I've been taken aback at how shy he is. Timid, in fact. And at events like this, where his boss is publicly backing him, you'd think Mac would be a little more excited.

Why would he want to be at a press conference where the AD has to defend his decision to keep him on? Has to be a very uncomfortable situation.

Re: Video: Pollard speaks on MBB situation
Greg must have stole his hands from a yetti. He makes those papers he is holding look like post-it notes.

JP should look at this tape... McD shuffled some papers and appears to not be happy about talking about his job status, he is obviously not the right man for the job.
Good grief, who would want to be sitting in that chair? These press conferences are routine on Mondays to talk about the games, anybody in that situation would have done similar things... I'm sure he just wanted to get to talking about the K-State win and the Big XII tourney.

Greg has done this since day one. Every single time he is at the podium with other players, he is always shuffling through papers and staring at random places.
