So if this kid didn't bash Scotty and DG, and just left it that he was upset and concerned with the direction of the team. Would people still be calling this kid a DB like everyard and others???
What happens if this kid someone had the cure for cancer in his letter to Pollard. (Just throwing something radical out there. Or maybe had a check for $2,000,000 in hand, written out to ISU) Would Pollard treat him the same way???
Who says this kid doesn't some day have $5,000 a year to donate, but because of Pollard being arrogant back when he was 20 decides not to donate??

Bingo...if you have a lot of money to give, you can basically make an AD of a program your puppet. A multi millionaire can say "If you don't do this, I'm not going to donate $5 million" and the AD might say "oh ****...that's mad money. I'm going to listen to this guy. This is good for our program!" But the guy might not actually know what he's talking about.

Spoken words can have a MUCH different meaning by simple voice inflection and empasis on a particular syllable. The radio guys appear to have made the response sound much worse than it likely was. I think you fell for the emotion and spin.

Yup.. All people from Norwalk are best buds... Heck I had him over for beer tonight. Duhhhhhhh.... He called our AD a ******* which I will agree with right now too... I don't believe he is one, just the way he handled it. He only came out and said that cause you guys keep pushing him and pushing him acting like his opinion is null and void because he is a Hawk fan.
He defended himself then you break him down more.

If the kid doesn't bash players and left it as he was upset and concerned, and JP STILL sent that response, then I think you and your buddy from Norwalk have a point. I'm sure that Pollard got plenty of emails during the season just like that. Probably many after each bad loss.

Your AD called out a member of the fanbase. WRONG!!! You don't do that! As AD, if you don't agree, ignore him or send him a generic reply, don't call him out.

He defended himself then you break him down more. Actually, hok fans' opinions ARE null and void here...at least for many of us. People with a vested interest in seeing our programs fail shouldn't be taken seriously on this board. A vast majority of them are idiots anyway.

I think he did do that though. Now what?
Why do you care? As a Hawk fan, you should be delighted.
