Re: Jordan Railey
I know it said he had the flu, but he was supposed to be up to 230 lbs or so.

Re: Jordan Railey
But does he ever get homesick?

Why the hell didn't he just recruit his son if he needed a big man instead of going after a mid-major recruit in Washington. I am willing to bet DMAC just as good as Railey.

He'll be entering a dog eat dog world wearing milk bone underwear.

Railey as I understand it is not a mid-major recruit getting offers from Pac-10 schools as he commited to us. As for Doug, if everyone here had their way, Doug wouldn't be here next year if he did commit to us or would have to transfer after the next year anyways. See if you get my point.
Cyclone
Iowa State became the Cyclones after they leveled Northwestern in 1895. As the Chicago Tribune (9/29/1895) noted:
'Struck by a Cyclone
It Comes from Iowa and Devastates Evanston Town' -
Re: Jordan Railey
I saw Oregon State and Washington State.

Re: Jordan Railey
We'll get him ready for the Pac 10.

I'm on Twitter too: Tre4ISU
Or so I have read. -
Re: Jordan Railey
Keep in mind that Railey has not signed yet. He may look at the disaster we have here and decide to sign with someone else next month.

Re: Jordan Railey
People need to realize that there aren't a lot of guys that play the 5 position that are skilled and ready to contribute from day 1 in college. There are only a handful on Demarcus Cousins in the world. For most schools, like Iowa State, you have to get a big man and develop him. Like we did with Ham. If Greg would have done his job and kept Ham, he would have ended up being a very good center for us and we would have had 2 years to develop Railey. Now Railey will be thrown to the wolves early like Ham did when he was a freshmen.
Getting a guy like Railey is fine (at the 5 position) but YOU HAVE TO KEEP HIM FOR 4 YEARS!!

Now that MBB is back, do we still have to pretend that WBB matters?
