That's enough for me right there.

Re: BB Scholly's
Just because he works hard doesn't mean he can play in the big 12. Sure if he earns a scholarship then give it to him, but I highly doubt he has the talent to be a productive big 12 player otherwise he probably would have been recruited out of high-school and received a scholarship offer instead of walking on.

That's enough for me right there. Due respect, I'm not sure it matters much if it's enough for you. If the coaches told him that if he puts out 100% effort every day then he'll get a scholarship, that's one thing. But if by "earn it" they meant that he had to be one of the top 2 or 3 pgs (or whatever line of demarcation) then I don't know that he's earned it.

That's fine - would you risk losing him by not giving him a schollie? I wouldn't, especially with the state of our program now. If he were him, and now being counted on to play minutes next year, I'd say a schollie is in order...

Re: BB Scholly's
Would I risk losing him? Yeah, probably. I don't think you can give away a scholarship to someone if you don't think they're worth it, no matter what the circumstances of next year.
Basically, I wouldn't want to give him a scholarship just to prevent him from leaving if he's going to be a 3rd string guy (which he is), and thus tie up a scholarship from being used elsewhere for 3 years.
Just my opinion.

Just my opinion. Totally agree

Just my opinion. And maybe Dorr needs a scholarship to stay also.
Pure guess: Next year Greg must either make NCAA, NIT or win half his conference games. He is forced to go to juco for instant players then.
Looking forward to CFH magic for the next bball season, Georges style. -

Didn't he step campus as a 16 year old?

Re: BB Scholly's
I can almost guarantee that we will have another open scholarship based on this terrible season and that fact that MCD is back. There's always another shoe that drops....
Dendy could probably get something overseas and I'm sure there is another player that thinks he can do better than 11th in the Big XII.
