Did I miss some ground-breaking discovery or something? Have they linked home-sickness to something medical?
Yeah, it's actually related to the relationship between the medulla oblongata, cerebellum, brain stem, and Phalanges. Dr. Marvin Candle described it as "akin to Bovine Spongiform encephalopathy minus the bovine and Spongiform part" It is relatively common among young adults, juveniles attending summer camp for the first time, and older folks whenever Shanandoah is played. It's tentative scientific name is, "Casa de sicknessoria".
My problem with it is that it has been announced and was decided upon. If this was done behind closed doors and the ultimate decision was to stay fine. It would have been all speculation. What happens come Thanksgiving or Chirstmas and he is homesick and decides to stay home for the holidays and second semester? That could be a possiblity.
And terrorists could attack Hilton Coliseum tommorrow....almost anything is possible, and IMO if he decides to stay after all, it would reinforce that he wants to be here.
