Thoughts on Dick Vitale

I don't know about everybody else, but i cannot stand listening to him. A lot of people i know feel the same way. IMO he has an annoying voice and his catchphrases are getting old. Does anybody like listening to him or is just the guys at ESPN that love to listen to Dick's opinion?

Well sorry. i haven't ever noticed a post like this before. It is just something i was talking about with some friends at lunch. If you don't want to comment on it don't waste my time or yours.

I don't see your thread going very far. Not because it is a bad topic or even because it has been discussed before. It's just that it is well established that Dukie V. is nearly unaimously disliked by all Cyclone fans. Won't be much to argue about.

The problem with this is that he gets the premier games in college basketball so if you're a fan of the game, you're forced to not watch the games he does, or watch them muted which is bull----.

Dan Patrick called him out for his Duke homerism yesterday which was refreshing. Everybody talks about what a good guy he is, and maybe that's true but the fact of the matter is, he sucks at his job and he drives a number of viewers away from ESPN. CBS got rid of Packer. I wish ESPN would see the light and can Dick.
