Agreed. I think he can work his way into a Kurt Thomas or Antonio McDyess type of role on a team. Maybe not quite as good as those two guys, but if his sole job is to let other creats and hit 15 footers when he's open, I think he will be just fine.

I'd say the guy is pretty spot on...no guard play.

Sweet the only players we have coming back are guards and CB play his entire career without a guard.

If you have a problem - if no one else can help - and if you can find
them - maybe you can hire: The A-Team.

What gives you that idea? I see him as a role player at best- maybe to a team that needs a 4 player who has good offensive tools but is less than average in about every other aspect of play. He needs to rebound and play defense at the NBA level and I don't think he proved that he could do that this season. I'm the biggest fan of Craigs but I just see him as a euro player...

As usual, Jason King was pretty favorable to the KU guys

I think that actually might be a mistake. I view Craig as a niche player in the NBA. A guy who can run the floor, and draw a big out from the post to help balance the floor. I don't see him as a banger.

This, I think Craig could excel for a team like Atlanta or Phoenix. We never got to see what Craig could do on a team that gets up and down the floor.

Really, other than a stretch during the middle of the season last year where it seemed like he couldn't miss anything, it didn't seem to me like Brackins really had a great long range shot. Maybe I just had too high of expectations and remembered the misses more than the makes.

If he's going to make it in the NBA, he's going to need that outside shot, because I just can't see him being able to handle the inside game. For his sake, I hope its just that McD didn't use him properly, because he didn't look like NBA material to me this year.

Or Golden State..I think that would be a great fit. I can see him as an Anothony Randolph with a little less ball skill, and a better jump shot.

I'll take the under on that one. Stick an elbow in his back and he runs to the three point line like a little girl.

My goodness we are quick to throw one of the best players ever at ISU under the bus.

    No bus throwing here.
He's not one of the best players ever at ISU.
He's got no shot in the NBA.

I agree. If I were building a team, I'd take guys like Damien Staple, Jackson Vroman, Jared Homan and Jiri Hubalek ahead of Brackins. They knew their strengths and gave it all they had on both ends of the floor. I think our team will actually perform better without Brackins next year. They can't do any worse!
