    Chris Colvin

    Alright guys I don't mean to put a damper on the day, but i just received a text message that told me that chris colvin will be leaving Iowa State and there will be an announcement made on thursday. Also heard that another assistant will be gone as well. Do not quote me on anything just reporting what i've been told my someone that has some inside access to the basketball program.

    Seems about right. I'm pretty concerned about what kind of team we'll field next year. All this crap going down in the middle of a key recruiting period for us. Not good at all.

    I still think Iowa is in way deeper doo doo than we are as far as the program is concerned.

    Wrong. They care about their program so they made a change. We don't. We have a lame duck coach and assistants and players continually jumping ship. We are in a HUGE hole, and who knows when we will come out of it.

    If we lose all the assistants and the players, why not replace the coach too? Oh, it is the money. Well then, we are stuck in neutral. We will be lucky to get anyone to come here, jucos included.

    Simmer down everyone. It does no good to change coaches at this point. My god have you seen what kind of coaches other schools are getting? The Colorado guy to Wake, maybe? That's a winning choice. Oregon can't buy anyone.

    Things will be what they will be. I'm happy we aren't dealing with a new coach.

    Who knows? Maybe Colvin will stay.
