Completely accuate, that the burden of proof is on Mac.

He hasn't bothered me too much lately. Since that high horse crap about Colvin, he's been alright. I just dislike his political views, and he's mostly kept that on his other show.
Re: Deace this morning...
I think we'll go like 5-25 next year. That is my honest prediction. They can weaken the schedule as much as they want and we may have the better team 5 or 6 games next year tops. This team will make last years Iowa team look good!

Now there's some positive spin! :biglaugh:
So in other words, the Deace-bag now considers himself a winner... :twitcy:
Re: Deace this morning...
What was he talking about in regard to his conversation with Pollard and the "6%" thing?

Maybe it's just me, but I think I'll wait to see what we have for players before I start making (or believing) predictions on the number of games we'll win.

I have no clue. I didn't hear too much of the show, but I think it was in reference to the bball revenues comprising only 6% of our total athletic revenues, so football is more important, and that's why JP doesn't care to spend the money on a buyout for Mac. Just what I got out of it.

I listened to his "Lost" comparison to the Bible for about 30 seconds and switched stations.
Re: Deace this morning...
So we will see Deace at some games this Winter?

He had lunch with JP and was told MBB is only 6% of the athletic department's revenue, Miller simplifies it meaning
to FB is 94% of the budget and MBB doesn't matter in the big picture. It's a twisting of the gross and net. Basically MBB is down and only showing a marginal profit. The point they are missing is we can't afford to be a one sport revenue generator.

Why not? We have practically been a one sport revenue generator for years. MBB really only makes enough to pay for themselves and maybe a little for someone else. Everything else, and I mean everything else, is funded from football it has been that way for awhile now.

It's amazing how Jamie has allowed one coach to change his opinion of ISU as a basketball school. What does Greg have on Jamie?
