AMES, Iowa--Jordan Railey, a 6-10, 235-pound forward from Beaverton, Ore., signed a letter of intent to play basketball at Iowa State beginning in the 2010-11 season, ISU head coach Greg McDermott announced today.
Railey, who was listed as the third-best center on the West Coast according to Scout.com, averaged 13.9 points and 7.7 rebounds in his senior season for Beaverton High School. Railey led Class 6A (large schools) in blocked shots, swatting away 4.6 shots per game.
Guys lets knock it off. Nobody likes what is going on right now in the program. BUT we just signed an 18 year old kid who just made the biggest decision in his life to come play at a school that all of us love. Let's welcome him!!!

Hahaha. Truthfully, good get. I'm hoping he fills his potential, but you can't hate for some of us making some jokes about the situation.
I'm almost excited as much about this kid as I am Ejim. I think they are two pretty solid high school recruits who could turn out to pretty good at ISU.
