Re: A few recruiting nuggets
With Railey signing, I'd say we'll sign two more. I'm gonna go ahead and say Bo Barnes signs with us (not too sure if that's a good thing or not). Reminds me of a Wes Eikmeir, but that's another topic. I'm hoping we can land either Wilkins or Clark, preferrably Wilkins though. Also, just wondering if anybody has heard any more recent news of that foreign kid?

Barnes - ISU over Hawaii, Evansville, East Carolina
Osenieks - ISU over Minny, Providence and Florida
Clyburn - Lose to Utah
Clark - Lose to TCU
Wilkins - Lose to Illinois State (Indiana and Providence offers also)
Osenieks has some quality offers.

Osenieks has some quality offers. This is what I was thinking as well. But hopefully we get either Clark or Wilkins. I would think Wilkins would choose Indiana if not ISU though, and not illinois state

Re: A few recruiting nuggets
Is Osenieks a JVB clone or will he play inside more like Dendy?

Osenieks would be good. Barnes, sorry, I just can't get too excited about a guy that we beat Hawaii, Evansville and East Carolina for...

strictlyto build for the future with. Barnes looks like a guy that with
a couple years in the system can be a major contributor. We actually
have a log jam of upperclassmen SGs but if/when he shows he can
hit 3s he'll see the floor.

You guys must actually think McDermott is going to win more than 10 games next season with a bunch of last minute signees. That will do wonders for our APR when the next coach is hired. Pollard will probably have to give him a 20-year contract.
If I were Pollard, I'd insist that we bank two or three scholarships. Then when McDermott is fired three-fourths of the way into next season, he'd be able to give the new coaching staff a whole bunch of open scholarships to work with. A new coaching staff brings hope and better talent. Remember Brackins was part of McDermott's first class. Four years later, McDermott can't even sniff a player with Brackins' potential.

Re: A few recruiting nuggets
if Mac is fired next year the incoming coach will have more open schollies
available then he will be able to fill. We'll have 4 SRs as well as a transfer
or two that happens when ever there is a coaching change.
