AMES, Iowa – Iowa State head men’s basketball coach Greg McDermott announced today that Chris Colvin, a freshman guard from Chicago, will transfer to another school.
Colvin played in 29 games in his first and only season with the Cyclones, averaging 3.0 points and 1.9 assists. He had a career-high 11 points vs. Oklahoma.
It's ok. ISU doesn't need him. He was way over rated. He's not that good. Probably wouldn't have played much next year anyway. This opens up more time for Bubu!
Interesting that this press release is short and to the point. No quote from Colvin citing a reason or talking about loving his time at Iowa State. No quote from McDermott wishing him well.

You would have thought ti would have been easy to do. Just delete the name "Justin Hamilton" and insert "Chris Colvin".
At this point, the Athletic Department has to have a form for this by now where they just "insert players name here"
