Remember, you can also contact Pollard saying you want to keep Pollard.
Be prepared to justify your contributions to the program, he will have the numbers in his response....................

Concrete cracks and basically falling apart in places, even the stairs. Hand railings look like crap. Been like this for years, and it is very evident.

Here's a thought ..... Pollard won't tell anybody on the board how to do their job and nobody here should think that they know more about Pollard's job than he does.

I don't think you understand that has nothing to do with JP. You should be talking to FP&M on campus if you have an issue with that.

Your right, people should stop giving their opinion on things. I shouldn't have an opinion on Iowa State athletics, health care, who my Senator is, how much in taxes I should pay, etc. I shouldn't let those in charge know how I feel.
I didn't tell Pollard..."Fire Mac." I gave him my opinion. It wasn't a long email, just a quick note telling how I feel. Will it change the state of Iowa State athletics? Nope. Will he know my opinion, absolutely. It's only one email but I've done my part.

Re: Who has writen a letter or email to Pollard?
Dated 3/12/10
I'm a freshman here at Iowa State, and I just wanted to personally ask you what your take was on our basketball program. After the latest defections by Justin Hamilton and Dominique Buckley, I am reconsidering re-upping my Cyclone Alley season tickets. I am not trying to insult you or your program, this is an honest inquiry. Honestly, I'm just a poor college student not wanting to pay another $100, plus another $30 for the "Cyclone Alley" distinction, to watch my Cyclones whip teams like Chicago State and Idaho State, but then flop in conference play.
I have to know what is going on within the program, why do players keep leaving? Not just our back-ups, but our starting players. I have to know why we have lost so many players the last few years, and how you or McDermott plan to stop this from happening.
I have to ask because going to Hilton and watching my team lose is getting harder and harder to do. Why pay $130 to do something I barely enjoy anymore?

Re: Who has writen a letter or email to Pollard?
AlleyAddict - Thats not a bad email. Came across with genuine concern and not smarmy *****-ing. Well done. Pollard probably would respond to that better than some others.

Re: Who has writen a letter or email to Pollard?
I emailed Pollard the day McDermott was hired. I told him I'd never buy a basketball ticket as long as he was coach. He replied that they'd have to win the Big 12 without me.
I was very disappointed with the hire and sent the email out of anger. I shouldn't have sent it and felt like an *** the next day. I hate the hire even more now but still wished I hadn't sent it.
