Who has writen a letter or email to Pollard?
My email went out 10 minutes ago. In my opinion this is like voting in an election...if you don't vote (or in this case tell Pollard your opinion) you can't complain.
Remember, you can also contact Pollard saying you want to keep Pollard.

Re: Who has writen a letter or email to Pollard?
I wrote him an email once to tell him about the disrepair of the railings, lights, and handrails around Hilton and how it is probably violating OSHA laws (for people who scoop snow), and how it is probably violating building codes, and a danger to people.
He emailed me back on the same day (Thanksgiving) to say that they were going to put up temporary barricades (like the concert ones) and they did. They are still there, and they still look like crap.

Re: Who has writen a letter or email to Pollard?
I basically just gave him my opinion that McDermott is not the man for the job at Iowa State. I told him that I have become so lethargic towards the basketball program that I didn't get upset at losses this past season. I also said I support the athletic department and their decisions but I can't give any financial support to something I don't believe in.

It's already clear that he doesn't listen to the fans anyway, so why bother. -
Re: Who has writen a letter or email to Pollard?
I emailed him telling him I have 100% support for him and coach.

I asked Santa for a table-top Pac Man machine this past Christmas and didn't get it. Should I write him a letter too?

A. He's still our coach. I'm not a fickle fan. I root for guys who gives 100% to their school even if they aren't winning.
B. Right until the very last game, the players were hustling their butts off. I'll support any program where the players play hard as they can.

Sorry mjones, I have season tickets (you might too) but no way did B happen all year. Yeah they beat K State but that does no way change my mind about them being lethargic and not hustling all year.

Re: Who has writen a letter or email to Pollard?
I'm sure some of you will be all over me for this, but no one understands what is going on with ISU athletics, facilities, building maintainence, $, etc better than JP. You're not going to tell him something that he doesn't already know. In my opinion, you're wasting your own time. Obviously, no one wanted Colvin to leave....probably most of all JP. I make decisions every day at my job and in most cases I don't feel the need to explain myself. He makes his decisions for a reason and it's up to him whether on not to share those thoughts. He didn't role out of bed one day and just become athletic director of Iowa State University. Rant over

Maybe there were lulls during the year, but in my opinion the last few games I saw a lot of hustle.
