CC was the fellow who fired the ball 60 mph to a spot. Dendy caught them most of the time, Ham did half the time, and CB never seemed to be open. CC was sort of wild, but we always preferred him top pass than top shoot the 28 per cent ball. Greg may have had several chats with him on how to east the clock so we did not have to play much defense.

He did do some things with ball that I would consider Maradona, and I hope he gets all the pieces to fit. I like watching really good players. As much as it pained me to see Johnson & Syracuse, he was still fun to watch.


I wish Colvin would have decided to develop his game at ISU, and it was too bad he had to be thrown to the wolves like that.

Kind of reminds me of the wall Blalock hit mid-season his freshman year. I actually ran into Tim Barnes in Iowa City after he was kicked out of ISU for academics, and joked around with him on how he let me down personally, and that Blalock really could have used his guidance. Red is one cool cat. Too bad he hated classes.

The guy can't shoot. There is no place in the NBA for guards that can't shoot.

Tinsley, Kidd, Rondo ... those are just the ones off the top of my head.

The kid has advisors and wants to run up and down the court and get minutes. We couldn't run that scheme due to injuries and sickness and CC being suspended and LA and etc... Sad to see a talented kid go, but his interview in no way points any fingers at GMac as being a bad coach. At least to me.

Wow. Simply wow. You don't actually believe what you type, do you? I guess all the transfers over the last 4 years are just a coincidence?

How many times do you guys have to be told that when our bench players went down, we quit the highlight reel, run and gun express? We also quit playing Spud Tech but that probably had nothing to do with it.
