His style of play? That doesn't even make sense. He couldn't even hit open 3's or freethrows. That doesn't fit a winning teams style of play. Good riddance, dude.

    Re: Colvin Interview

Was there something markedly different about the style of play this year as opposed to the previous (when he was being recruited)?

These answers alway come off as insincere to me.

I agree with the notion we have problems and they are at GMac's feet. I'm not convinced that Colvin is the result of those however. Kid seems to have an obvious attitude problem as we saw back in Dec/Jan, with reports of other instances even earlier. He comes out with all kinds of promises that he guarantees he'll be back next fall. Now this? Play change during that Texas game in KC?

Losing Colvin only sucks because he's the latest in a ridiculously long list. If he were the first and only - wouldn't be shedding a tear at all.

I believe he said he was promised run and gun and got UNI ball. You don't need to hit 3s or FTs to play run and gun.. but as a PG in a run and gun you do need great court vision, which he showed glimpses of having. I can see his point.

He did one thing really well. He could see the court. Other than that his game was suspect.
I don't think I'm alone when I say I'd like to see more and more planets fall under the ruthless domination of our solar system.
