New 2010 basketball recruiting prospect
Keep an eye on the name Calvin Godfrey. He's a 6-foot-7 power forward out of Robbinsdale Cooper Sr. in New Hope, Minn. Calvin Godfrey - College Basketball Recruiting 2010 - ESPN
Pretty sure that an offer has been handed out based off of what I've been able to put together.

Okay... offering him is one thing. Now, what are our chances?

Re: New 2010 basketball recruiting prospect
i'm an espn "insider", and after reading that, i think i would rather have him then clyburn OR wilkins.

I'd definetly take this kid. Looks like he could be force down low.

Has to be a reason no one has offered according to rivals...

Who is Calvin Godfrey? | StarTribune.com Possible red flag: I've been told that Godfrey, who played for NBA all-star Devin Harris' AAU squad in Milwaukee, might have to deal with some academic challenges.

Re: New 2010 basketball recruiting prospect
I am wondering why Minn. didn't grab this guy up immediately. He looks good on paper and like the other poster I would rather have him then the couple of Juco's that went elsewhere. Physically he looks like Brackins did when he came to ISU. This would be a good recruit for Mac.
I just read the report on him. If any kid goes to three high schools in three years his academics are going suffer. It sounds like he needs some stability in his life and a lot of tutoring. I hope we get him.

Re: New 2010 basketball recruiting prospect
If you read what the scouts are saying about his talent, not his size, then he sounds like Brackens.
