    They are "reporting" it because we all know that the network news channels are where the real breaking news is. You are just one of those young whipper snappers fiddling with that Internet thing, which is clearly a phase that will pass. You probably can't even get a press pass to the boys high school tournament.

    Can this possibly be a step up? Are D-League coaches just not paid that much? Seems strange with everyone expecting Gmac to be around just one more year.

    yup, it'll be good to have this kind of experience. Another thing: if GMac is let go and no one wants to come here next year, he can interview for the job.

    Maybe the plan is to get him in the door to hopefully take over the head coach position after Gmac departs.

    Agree. He looks like a great hire, but since this has been rumored for several weeks, I can't imagine he would turn the job down now. That would be an unnecessary kick in the nuts to have us be publically turned down instead of a private 'no thanks".

    If he can be an X's and O's guy and get some good assistants to help with recruiting I wouldn't have a problem with it. However, I don't really know anything about Nurse's background, etc.
