Apparently Brust was just denied his appeal to the Big10 to be able to transfer within the conference so his Big10 offers are pretty much done (except for Iowa)
Thats pretty bush league move on the Big Ten conference, if the Hawks released him, what business is it of theirs?

And even if he did, I don't think getting a release from your LOI and requesting a transfer are looked at as the same thing.
Its a Big 10 rule. He signed a LOI so he is considered a transfer.
