    How is it that almost every major sports outlet has reported McD has accepted the offer, but still no word from players, JP, or anyone else affiliated with the university? I just find that kind of odd.

    How does McDermott get these ridiculous contracts? He must be a good negotiator because there is no way I would given him the contract he had with ISU and there is no way I would sign him for TEN YEARS if I was creighton

    If you like back over the last 48 hours. No one from any university has commented on this story. It has all been media. I wouldn't expect the university to rush to compete with the media on this story. They will get their information out when they are ready.

    Why is it odd? No one from the University is going to say anything until GMac talks with the players. Then they will make a formal announcement. The players won't say anything until they tallk with GMac. It is pretty normal actually.

    There is a set of rules for those that are actually involved with these things. A time and place for everything. Its how its handled professionally. Unfortunately there are always leaks and media to catch it.

    I heard McDermott is now turning down the Creighton offer because the Palestinians, impressed with his bargaining power, have hired him to negotiate for increased land in the Gaza Strip
