    Virginia's Tony Bennett

    One name that has popped up regarding the new ISU coaching search is Virginia's Tony Bennett. He's a Wisconsin (friends with Otzelberger) guy but keep in mind that he is making $1.7 million at Virginia. I doubt ISU has that sort of a cash flow to lure him to the Big 12.

    Also, wasnt 2009-2010 his first year at Virginia? Thatd be awful soon to jump out.

    On a similar note though regarding pay, what do you think we can afford to pay the next guy? Certainly that number is higher than we wouldve thought a few weeks ago when we were talking what'd happen if we fired GMac, since we've essentially had a $3mil swing in cash with no buyout to pay + an 800k check from Creighton.

    For the record, I don't think he'll come to Iowa State with the money he is making at Virginia. That's what I was trying to point out in my initial post. I apologize if it was confusing.
