There's no way of knowing that.

Why don't gamblers always play the safest bet?
Re: Billy Gillespie and Rehab
We fired LE because he had his picture taken holding a can of beer and now we should hire a guy with 3 DUI's.
He evidently didn't change after the first DUI, didn't change after the second DUI, but we're kind of hoping that he might change the 3rd DUI.

And there is also no way of knowing if any of the other canidates won't get a DUI either. But the history is there

I don't gamble so I don't understand a gambler's mentality.

And it was a failure by GG and BVDV to fire LE, instead of giving him the opportunity to rehab, and i think a lot of fans thought, and continue to think that.

Right. Billy is more likely to get a DUI than the other candidiates based on history.

He didn't get help after the first 2. He didn't get fired after the first 2, he actually got better job offers. I think the last 2 years would have sobered him up.

Then you don't have an AD's mentality either, because I guarantee any coaching hire is a gamble.

Not saying Billy shouldn't be considered, but we have to be very careful.
Kansas State took a gamble on Bob Huggins. He built up the atmosphere and brought in good assistant coaches and recruits. He only stayed for a year and KSU has skyrocketed since.
I am willing to experiment if it means bringing in a coach who was once considered a top coaching prospect and has had huge success in the Big12.

Really? He has more wins than all of the other candidiates?
Re: Billy Gillespie and Rehab
First you have to get BCG to sign the contract and not just the 1 page memo of understanding. I don't think he ever did sign the Kentucky contract.

Name one that has turned programs around as fast as he has
