Fickle Fans--Just My Observation

Two days ago this blog said Pollard was an idiot and how the world was going to hell at Hilton. Now Fred gets hired and all is well and we are on our way to the Big 12 title.

I must say, as a recent member of the Cyclone Nation, you guys can't make up your minds.

Whoa. Who is saying B12 title? I think most people are just happy that change brings new hope. That's it.

He just hired a guy to coach a major college basketball program who has basically never coached basketball before in his life.

I think I'm even more convinced that Pollard is a clown.

Or maybe some of us are just happy to have our most popular player as our head coach. It's a cool situation. I'll worry about whether it was the right decision later.

im not fickle. we had the wrong coach on Sunday and we have the wrong coach today.

I thought the right guy for the job was John Tharp from D2 Hillsdale. I hope the Mayor is successful but if not John would be a good pick.

Yep, I agree. I feel sorry for Fred. He did his thing for ISU, he doesn't need to sacrifice himself again. He's a hero to the ISU fanbase-that's good enough for anyone. It's a huge undertaking to try to come back and be our savior.

No rewards without risk.... Hoiberg/Pollard are taking a chance to be a hero again... awesome... hes not a wussy.. he has heart, and guts, and i love it... we need our players to have that too... hell help them find it. most people on here are prob to weak to take chances, and everything is always wrong... everyone great has a first job... everyone great.
